About

Mission: Finding Home seeks to make Bahamian history and heritage accessible through the collection and documentation of community experiences. It also seeks to make these studies engaging through creative presentation.

Vision: Finding Home supports individuals, communities, and institutions interested in learning more about Bahamian history and culture at the individual and community levels. It develops content and products to present that information to diverse audiences in innovative and engaging ways.

The Finding Home blog is driven by Bahamians studying history and anthropology at home and abroad. These students want to share their love for history, particularly previously unexplored Bahamian histories, with the public.
